The Melbourne Show is over, and it's
time again for me.
I've seen the pigs, I've seen the
sheep, and they were good to see;
I've seen the farm machinery and
harvesters and ploughs,
I've seen the horses and the fowls.
The bullocks and the cows
I like a little change of scene
just once or twice a year
And now I'm going home again, It
would be dreary here.
And when I get back home, you ask
me what is there then to see?
Why, there are pigs and there are
sheep that's good enough for me;
There's plenty farm machines, both
harvesters and ploughs,
There'll be the horses and the fowls,
the bullocks and the cows,
I've seen enough of city shows
the whole week there I've been.
And now I'm going home again;
I want a change of scene.
