Further Blither

Now, what is the trend, my
    worthy friend,
Of this growing political
    habit
Of using a curse that for
    force is worse
Than the squeal of a
    captured rabbit?
With a mild near-swear they
    greatly dare;
But for "damns" they're never
    game.
Oh, what a blithering, blinking
    bothering, blinded, blooming
    shame.
