Ows it poppin. I see be the papers
that they bin avin more fogs in the
city An bill smith sez to me lars nite
that they bin avin fogs in the city
neerly orl the time but mostly in ther
minds he reckins an I aint misdoubtin
im that the city life leads to fogs
in the mind I see mister chapman an
mister charlton is goin strong fer the
welfare uv the man on the land wot
do they no about it anyway they
never bin up ere wot do they no about
the life a man leads on the land ow
would they like to be in my place
where the road is that bad an that
confusin that the only way I kin
find me way ome is to take a line on
the top branches uv a tall tree an foller
it an’ when ime comin ome uv a dark
nite I got to climb the tree an’ feel the
branch ows that fer country life i
dont think them polytishuns ave did
much tree climbin tho ive eard ther
pretty good at rollin logs i got a few
logs on mi place they kin roll orf it
if ther wantin exersise mi backs about
dun in with usin the cant ook an the
lever hoppin you are the sam
