Letter by CJD to J.G. Roberts 1924.06.11 Dear Dad,
I enclose the English letter which came to me after about a year's wandering over Australia. It went to Sydney after Walsh St, South Yarra - in another envelope. I think it was held up there, and I got it eventually in Toolangi, from the Dead Letter Office, via the Herald.
I hope that Major Berry can still be found at the Pensions Office.
Sorry you had such a bad day for the opening of your fete. And hope it is turning out all right now.
Kind regards to everyone.
Yours, Den
PS I should like to have the letter back.
